now and is just as neat looking.

This guy is "Not For Sale" Larry claims him. ( Yes, he did )
Dam: Kiowas Peppy Gem by Scott Will Win
Teresa is riding a full brother to this colt that is 8 this year in the barrels. He's also an awesome roping horse.
Kellie Brockoff is barrel racing a full brother to him, also. This mare has some awesome colts. You'll have to keep an eye on him as he grows up.
In April, 2012, we had a mare that had trouble foaling, as a result we lost the mare.
So Tossie Kirkham was willing to adopt the really nice stud colt that she had and raise it.
Madison showed the colt at the Atchison County Fair this year and won her class.
Tossie says the colt is doing really well and is looking forward to the future with him.
Thanks, guys, for a job well done....
An Update........
Here is an email we recently got from Tossie about how he's been hauled extensively and wins his halter classes. He sets
up automatically,
clips, bathes, plays with balls, etc.
He was at the Valley Falls Dog and Pony Show in May and on front page
of Vindicator. 60plus children got to touch and play with him. They really
liked seeing his baby teeth! They learned alot about him. He stood
quietly while being surrounded with squealing, loud children patting,
slapping, pulling on him, trying to pick up more than one foot at a time! The
children did not understand he needed 3 feet to stand when picking up one.
Some got to feed him. He was there all day and really enjoyed the
children. He goes everywhere!! and stands quietly at trailer all day!!
Nicest colt I have ever had!! Can't
thank you enough!! Madison has put baby
saddle on him, tied walmart bags all over him and baby bridle she mad
and he just wears it
all over without any issues! No, we don't put any weight on him but know
in the future, there should never be any saddling issues or
bucking!!
Since then, Larry took Rosie Boy and is now roping off him. He's been winning money. Rosie Boy been doing really well in the roping pen. Talk about a very, versatile horse...
At the KS NBHA State Finals on May 20, 2012, Rosie Boy won the saddle for the Average in the Senior's 3D & Cash won the Reserve Champion 3D. It was a fun weekend.
In 2009, we competed at the NEKSAG horse shows in barrel racing and pole bending. We like going to them with our young horses to get them exposed to different things. This is the first year for them. Here are some of the accomplishments:
sire: Rare Jet Extreme by Sixarun by Streakin Six
dam: Cash Leader by Preppie by Dash for Cash
Teresa used him in Barrels and Poles. Year end accomplishments:
Barrels 40 & over 1st place
Barrels 18 & over 1st place
Poles 40 & over 2nd place
Poles 18 & over 3rd place
She also rode him in Jackpot Barrels
and placed.
She also trained him to be a rope horse. He's a finished heading horse and picking
up the healing end real well. For a big horse, he really handles himself.
sire: AR Mitos Rose (our Stud)
dam: Kiowas Peppy Gem by Scott Will Win by Scottish Will
Teresa trained him on the barrels and poles and just used him in the Novice Classes in NEKSAG. His year end accomplishments:
Barrels 1st place
Poles 2nd place
Rosie Boy really picks up things fast and wants to do them. He's a real natural on the barrels, really hunts them. This is the first colt out of our stud and we are really pleased how it's going.
Update 2013: Since Larry got his sorrel horse roping really well, Teresa got him back to run barrels on this summer. He's really coming on strong. With more seasoning, they will be tough.
