These colts are looking really good. They are standing from 14.2 hands to 15 hands now. Good bone, straight legs, and willing to go to work. Teresa has started working with the blue roan colt, on the left, in the round pen. He's a quick, very willing learner. She put the saddle on him, no buck. Put the bitting rig on him with no resistance. She's ready to ride him soon.
All these colts have been easy to work with and train... they are current on their shots, worming, have had their feet trimmed and clipped and took being gelded real well.

This colt stands 15 hands now & has a really nice head and hip. He has the stripes on his legs and over the shoulders. He really has a nice move to him, flat kneed when he trots. He should make a really nice 2 yr. old Snaffle Bit Pleasure prospect.
Teresa is riding a 4 yr. old half brother to this colt in barrels now. He is doing really well. Has quick speed and a real natural pocket and collection around the barrels. Plus he's really goes to the cattle. She also rode another full brother to him, 3 yr. old gray colt, in Novice Barrels and Poles last year in NEKSAG & did really well. He is a really quick learner. Ready for the roping pen this summer. So this colt ought to be just as good or better.

This is a really sweet colt. He stands 15 hands & straight legs, nice hip, & shoulder. He's a really quick, willing learner. First to greet you in the pasture. He should make a really good ranch horse, roping horse, or barrel prospect. Larry just started working this colt. He has three rides on him and doing really well. Giving to the bit, flexing at the poll and very quick learner. Not a buck one. Great prospect...

This colt is really working nice. Teresa is really not ready to sell him yet. She's got him working in the round pen under saddle with no resistant at all. Not one buck. She been riding him in the round pen, trotting, flexing, and given to the bit quite well. She has some big hopes for this colt.
His mother goes back to Tee Jay Badger and Eddie Eighty on the top. Teresa roped off his mother before we turned her into a broodmare.
And the stud, we rope, drag brush, and ran a few barrels on him. He's got the speed in his background. |
